I present to you a beautiful and unique coffee table made of a combination of wood and glass.
The wood is a beautiful poplar burl, which is characterized by a unique color and three-dimensional graining, combined with a pane of tempered glass, it creates a unique composition. Looking through the glass, we can imagine the natural shore of a river or lake, the pure beauty of nature.
The tabletop has undergone all the necessary processes to protect the surface from moisture and damage.
The wood has been subjected to the process of launching several times during grinding to maintain a constant surface smoothness during use.
The whole was covered with a hard oil-wax Rubio monocoat.
The wood from which I made the tabletop was dried to 6% moisture and all work on it took place in an air-conditioned workshop to maintain all the necessary parameters.
I filled the gaps with a special putty for wood based on natural ingredients, while maintaining the most natural look.
The legs of the table are made of American walnut. The wood of the legs is protected with natural tung oil.
The glass is a 6 mm thick tempered sheet cut especially to the shape of the tabletop created by nature.
